Hi everyone. My name is Lauren and I am one of Dr Cheng's treatment coordinators and I'm here to talk to you about preparing for your aesthetic consultation.
As a patient coordinator our role is to be your main point of contact and help guide you through the consultation process from the first phone call during your consultation procedures and aftercare.
As every consultation is customised to individual needs, your treatment coordinator will advise you of the specific requirements you may need to prepare. You may be required to obtain a referral from your GP for your consultation. It is best to discuss your requirements so that you can be advised appropriately.
You may be asked to take photos of your areas of concern and potentially ideal outcome images of what you are hoping to achieve as Dr. Chang reviews all information prior to your consultation, photos are a useful tool to convey this information and that way we can maximise your consultation time.
Previous relevant medical history is also obtained prior to your consultation, for example, for revision of implants done elsewhere. It is important to know exactly what has been done by previous surgical notes and knowing your current implant information.
You're also welcome to write down all of your questions and bring them along to your consultation to ensure all of your questions are answered.
You may also want to bring along your diary so that we can go through some potential surgery dates with you.
You may also want to look at some images or procedure information prior to your consultation. You can find some more information on our website or our social media pages, and be sure to follow us on instagram and facebook.
