Facial expressions are a critical part of communication.
Over time, however, these expressions can produce permanent lines and wrinkles.
Anti-wrinkle injections can soften the existing signs of ageing, leaving you looking younger and refreshed. They also prevent lines from getting worse.
With an ultra fine needle and a superior knowledge of anatomy, our specialist plastic surgeon, Dr Cheng and our Aesthetic Nurse can treat specific muscles responsible for certain movements. By relaxing these muscles, the wrinkles and lines they cause, soften or disappear.
Achieving a natural looking result to facial movement and expression, while softening harsh facial lines, is both an art and a finely tuned technical skill.
At AR Plastic Surgery, we deliver natural looking results, so you look younger, not frozen.
Areas typically treated with Anti-Wrinkle Injections are the forehead, crow’s feet and frown line.
Whilst we aren't able to advertise certain scheduled medications, we can assure you that we only use the world's leading anti-wrinkle brand with a 20 year safety profile in clinical practice.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections are calculated per unit:
$14/unit for our Cosmetic Nurse Injector
$20/unit for Dr Eddie Cheng
As a guide, costs for each area with our Cosmetic Nurse Injector start from:
Forehead: From $98
Crow’s Feet: From $168 per eye area
Frown Line: From $280
Your initial consultation will include a discussion and assessment with our Cosmetic Nurse Injector and Dr Cheng to determine your treatment plan.
Generally, results start to become visible 2-3 days after treatment. The full effect is apparent after 10 - 14 days.
The effects of anti-wrinkle injections last up to four months after treatment and gradually wear off. If you have regular treatments, the effects may last longer.
Regular anti-wrinkle treatments may help to improve the longevity of the effects and will also help to prevent the formation of static lines (those lines that are present even when your face is at rest). You may also like to consider a skin consultation with our Clinical Nurse/Dermal Therapist to find out more about improving your skin quality.
Possible side effects include discomfort during injection, stinging, minor bruising, swelling or redness at the injection site.
At your consultation, you will be able to discuss these in further detail.
