Brisbane’s Newest Integrated Hotel and Hospital Opens Its Doors
Fresh from opening its doors to the public in January, Queensland's only hotel and hospital in the one building, which consists of Essence Suites Taringa and Westside Private Hospital, welcomed its first guest and patient from Aesthetic and Reconstructive (AR) Plastic Surgery recently.
As Dr Eddie Cheng from AR Plastic Surgery, prepared for his first surgical procedure at the newly established facilities, his patient flew into Brisbane and traveled via train directly to the central location of Taringa in preparation for her surgery.
Essence Suites Taringa welcomed the patient who checked in to her Suite and then travelled via lift from the hotel on level 7 to the hospital reception on level 1. With the assistance of her carer, she was discharged from Westside Private Hospital after surgery with Dr Cheng and was able to relax and recover in her brand new, beautifully-appointed accommodation suite of Essence Suites Taringa .
