KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Specialist Plastic Surgeons are qualified surgeons, the title Cosmetic Surgeons is a fabricated title.  Be sure to KNOW THE DIFFERENCE when it comes to choosing your aesthetic surgeon.

If you are considering plastic surgery in 2021, this video contains an important and timely message from a patient who has had first hand experience of complications.   Dr Amira Sanki, Vice President of The Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons clearly explains the differences between Specialist Plastic Surgeons and the fake title, Cosmetic Surgeon.  We urge you to watch this video if you are about to choose your surgeon here in Brisbane.  Be sure to do your homework and seek the skills of a Specialist Plastic Surgeon.

You will also find a simple checklist  to tick off when it comes to choosing your surgeon for procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lift surgery, breast reduction and tummy tuck surgery.   Be sure to check off these four key items:

1. I have verified my surgeons qualifications and title

2. I understand the risks, complications and alternatives of  my surgery

3. My surgery will take place in a licensed and accredited hospital

4. My surgeon has explained their aftercare procedures and will be available to care for me
